Leaving San Francisco, our trip seemed a little bit more official as the back seat was now occupied by our furry kid, Sierra. With the Golden Gate in the rear view mirror, we hit Highway 1 and made our way up the coast through some of our favorite places for a weekend retreat from the City. After a barbequed oyster breakfast at the Marshall Store, we left Tomales Bay, passed through Bodega Bay and made our way to Mendicino, enjoying the stunning California coastline every inch of the way.
